Book a private tour of Boston's Chinatown for your group on any day except Saturday! Perfect for families, friend groups, corporate outings, or anyone who wants a personalized experience.

Your private tour includes everything from the public tour—visits to an herbalist shop and Chinese grocery, tastings at beloved local vendors, stories of immigrant resilience and community history, and authentic dim sum to finish—with the flexibility to customize the experience for your group's interests.

Led by Jacqueline Church—a passionate educator with deep knowledge of Chinese culture and food—you'll receive personal insights, local history, and insider tips shared in a lively and engaging way. You’ll leave feeling as though you've traveled to another destination, with a customized guide to Chinatown for future adventures.

  • When: available Sunday–Friday, 9:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

    Duration: The tour covers approximately 1 mile of walking at a leisurely pace with frequent stops for tastings and storytelling. Expect to spend about 3 hours on the walking portion, plus additional time for dim sum.

    Group Size: a maximum of ten (10) guests and a minimum of two (2) guests

  • Tours starting at 5:00 p.m. are considered "night tours" and offer a different atmosphere and Chinatown experience.

    Children under 2 are welcome to join free of charge. Please consider your child's attention span and patience before booking.
